I was planning on making this an upbeat post about my favorite painting at my home museum (the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston), but then the second I visited their homepage, the above image popped up.
AAAAAAAAAAH.
I know museums need visitors and money and everything like that, but seriously, if I see one more Egyptian mummy exhibition or FRENCH IMPRESSIONIST art show at a place where they could be doing something more along the lines of this (or even this, for that matter), watch and see if I don’t scream and scream and then scream some more.
I know, I know, such things aren’t blockbuster material, but still- this early-modern fangirl can dream, right?
